Disclaimer: This calculator provides estimated risk exposure based on publicly available penalty guidelines from CPSC (Section 17 of CPSA, as adjusted), CPSIA Section 14, CPSIA Prop 65 (Health & Safety Code §25249.7), and OSHA HazCom Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200). CPSC civil penalty maximums are adjusted annually for inflation; current maximum is up to $120,000 per violation with an aggregate cap of $17,150,000. OSHA serious violation penalties are currently up to $16,131 per violation. Prop 65 private enforcement penalties are up to $2,500 per day per violation. Actual penalties may vary.
